Vaxholm Fortress is a historic fortification on the island of Vaxholmen in the Stockholm archipelago just east of the small town of Vaxholm. The fortress was originally built in 1548 to defend Stockholm against shipborne attacks from the east. Most of the current structure dates from 1833–1863. The fortress was strategically situated to defend the city from naval attacks. The Danes attacked it in 1612 and the Russian navy in 1719.

Gustav III’s Pavilion is a royal pavilion at the Haga Park in Stockholm. The pavilion was built in 1787 by the architect Olof Tempelman with detailed instructions from King Gustav III who was personally involved in the project.

S/S Stockholm was built in 1931. Originally powered by a steam engine it is now mainly powered by diesel engines. However, in case it is needed the old steam engine still works. It can carry up to 400 passengers. The upper deck houses a dining room with between 175-185 seats.
